My Approach

I integrate a variety of evidence-based therapies to support clients in addressing mental health challenges and achieving lasting personal growth:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): A structured approach to help individuals identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts and beliefs, develop effective coping strategies, and manage emotions and behaviors. CBT is highly effective for depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, substance use disorders, and more.

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): A mindfulness-based therapy that encourages individuals to accept difficult emotions and thoughts while committing to actions that align with their core values. ACT promotes psychological flexibility and resilience.

  • Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT): A goal-oriented approach that focuses on identifying strengths and solutions, helping clients set achievable goals and collaborate on strategies for personal improvement.

  • Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART): A therapy that utilizes visual imagery and relaxation techniques to reprocess traumatic events, helping clients move forward in a healthier way. ART is effective for PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other conditions.

  • Equine-Assisted Therapy: A holistic approach combining horsemanship with psychotherapy to address depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, and more. Through interactions with horses, clients can develop emotional regulation, insight, and healthier coping strategies.
